Holy One, across this tiny fragile blue planet people are fearful.
Many are in harm's way, as fighting nears their homes.
We fear each other, seeing an enemy rather than a sister or brother.
Remind us that we worship one God, the creator of us all.
Remind us that none of us knows what is best for the others,
that we have enough trouble knowing what's best for ourselves.
You told all of us to respect and love one another.
We confess that we hate and loathe more than we love.
And we know that we should not, that our aggression offends you.
Forgive us. Show us a path to peace that all of us
can embrace, loving one another as you love us.
